It was a pretty standard process. We started with an initial screening call, and then I had two more interviews. The first was with a director and another person who was in the same role as the one I was interviewing for. The second interview was with a manager and a senior person in the same role.

I went through 3 interview rounds. The first was with the head of People Ops. Then, I met with the two individuals I would be directly supporting. The entire process was quite pleasant and not overly demanding, unlike some other interview experiences I've had.

Coding Technical

The whole process took about a week. It was okay overall, with two interview stages. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest doing the online assignment. I had to build a webpage using HTML and CSS, and there were two more coding tests focusing on CSS grid systems and responsiveness. I spent about 8 hours on it, and they didn't give any feedback, which was pretty disappointing.

Presentation Case

I wanted to share my interview experience with ComboCurve. The initial stages were good, with clear communication and a role that seemed like a good fit. However, the process involved a case study where I had to create a detailed marketing campaign strategy for their business. This felt like more than just an assessment; it was like doing work they could use. Candidates should be aware of the depth they're asking for. During the case study presentation, the interview felt disorganized and dismissive, with frequent interruptions. After I submitted the case study, they stopped communicating. I followed up but got no response or closure. Asking candidates to do high-effort, business-specific work and then not following up is unprofessional and makes you wonder how they might use candidate work. I'd advise future candidates to confirm expectations about case studies and be wary of tasks that seem like free consulting.
