I arrived on time for my interview and had to wait about 20 minutes for the F&B Director. He asked me about my skills, previous experience, and ability to work as a team. After he interviewed me, his boss, the GM, interviewed me. The GM asked all the questions, but the F&B Director stayed in the room. The GM tested my general wine knowledge and wine pairings. He also asked me a series of questions to test how strong my stated skills were. The GM told the F&B Director that he approved, and the F&B Director told me I was hired. He told me to come back the next day for training and what to get for a uniform. After each interview, I was asked if I had any questions, and I asked a few. I mention this because after I was hired and had been working for the company for a while, different managers and directors discussed their interviews and told me that they had qualified applicants for jobs who were not hired because they didn't have/ask any questions.

I sent in my application online and then they invited me in for an interview. I had to fill out an application in the hotel lobby and then wait for the F&B director for the interview. The interview itself was pretty basic. They did offer me a supervisor position, but the pay was really low and they weren't flexible on the salary. I ended up getting hired at another place for almost double the pay they offered.

It was pretty informal. I sent my resume over email and then they called me in for an interview. I interviewed directly with the head of the department, and then had a second interview the next day with the general manager. The conversation felt more focused on filling the open position rather than checking if I was a good fit.

The interview process was very smooth and straightforward. The HR team was exceptional, with the HR manager being very friendly and easy to talk to. The General Manager was knowledgeable and asked relevant questions. My advice is to check out the company website to get a good understanding of the company.
