First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Colorado Psychiatry Center.
Front Desk Receptionist
It started with a phone interview, and then I was invited for an in-person interview. During the in-person interview, there were about three people, and they asked typical questions.
- Can you explain the distinction between good and great, and how would you identify it?
Housekeeper
The interview was straightforward; I started working immediately. I was assigned to the laundry room and finished the tasks within five days. My duties included a top-to-bottom cleaning of all rooms to address previous guest complaints about odors. I dedicated my full effort and passion to this role without any issues. However, a change in management and a personal matter on my end led to the devaluation of my hard work.
- Can you tell me about your experience in cleaning and guest services?
Front Desk Supervisor
I went to the corporate office in Northglenn. My first and only interview was with the owner. He mainly asked if I had any background in hospitality. After the interview, I met the HR and other office staff. The environment was good and the staff seemed friendly.
- Could you tell me about your relevant experience?
- Do you have weekend availability?
General Manager
This was a really fast, simple, and direct interview process. I had two interviews, one with the owner. Both interviewers were very pleasant. I was hired right after the interview and accepted the offer. This was planned out a month in advance with a lot of back-and-forth emails. I traveled a long way to get there. However, when I met with the corporate people, they were very shady and gave off bad vibes. They acted like I showed up unannounced and they had no prior contact with me. I got dirty looks and I think they were texting each other while I was in the room, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. They booked me a room for the night, and I'll see how it goes when I talk to the owner tomorrow. This start has definitely ruined my night and is not off to a good start at all.
- Were there any particularly challenging questions.
