The interview process is pretty straightforward, and they keep you informed. Even for entry-level roles, you'll go through at least 4 interviews. The questions are tough, but in a good way. You feel like they really want you to succeed, and they put a lot of effort into finding the right people for their jobs.

I applied and then I got an email saying they wanted to do a zoom interview within 24 hours. The video questions were mostly about beliefs. There were about 8-10 questions in total. It gives you about 30 seconds to 1 minute to read and prepare your response before it automatically records.

The hiring process is really long and in-depth. You might have to wait several weeks to hear back. You'll meet with various people from different departments. The university is really focused on finding the right fit, which has its pros and cons. On the plus side, they're likely to find a candidate who truly belongs there. On the downside, they might overlook great educators and staff who don't tick every single box.

The interview process felt unclear and dragged on for a long time. I really wasn't sure how the whole thing would play out or what each step actually meant in the grand scheme of things. I tried to get more info, but the answers I got weren't very clear. Looking back, it seemed like the institution was more focused on just filling a spot in their growing organization rather than actually getting to know me as a person. When they finally made an offer, there was no flexibility to discuss it at all. It was a disappointing experience to go through such a lengthy process only to have it not work out in the end. I learned from this to always ask about potential future offers, but still, it was a bummer.
