First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Colorado Athletic Club.
Manager
The company's systems, designs, and processes seem really outdated, which pretty much sums up the whole experience. They really need to modernize everything. A big overhaul would be beneficial.
- Can you tell me about any other positions you are currently exploring?
Sales Representative
Be enthusiastic and show passion. Make sure you understand the basic sales process: building rapport, needs analysis, presentation, overcoming objections, and closing the sale. Follow up after the interview, and show you won't take no for an answer. A passion for fitness is also a big plus, so mention any fitness accomplishments, sports, or workout habits. Also, talk about your customer service experience and if you're willing to go the extra mile for special events, membership drives, or party planning. You need to be social and outgoing.
- Be ready to demonstrate how you would close a sale.
- Can you show me how you ask for the sale?
- How do you handle objections and overcome them after drawing them out?
Hospitality Associate
The interview was very relaxed and not at all intimidating. We discussed the basic duties and expectations of the role, including opening and closing procedures, and availability. Since I had prior experience at the club, I was already familiar with the environment and staff, making it feel more like a transition than a formal interview.
- What's your availability?
Personal Trainer
The interview process is pretty chill and welcoming. The training managers are super cool and focused on helping you achieve your fitness career goals. It's a fantastic environment for new trainers or those aiming to deepen their involvement in the fitness industry.
- Assess your skill sets and ability to work with older populations.
