First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Colorado Access.
Foundation Specialist
I had this hour-long Zoom interview with the exec director and another foundation staffer. They said they were hoping to decide based on this one interview, but they would have a follow up panel interview if there were multiple finalists. The recruiter called to let me know I didn't get the job three business days later.

Business Systems Analyst
I applied through a recruiter company and it was a pretty straightforward process. They had me fill out some questions before the actual interview, which was virtual and lasted about 30-40 minutes. The hiring manager and product owner made the hiring decision the day after the interview. This is a remote position.
- Can you tell me about your experience as a Healthcare Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, including the duration and companies?
- What is your experience with Medicare/Medicaid or Healthcare Claims, including how long you've worked with them and at which companies?
- Do you have experience with analytics and report writing? If so, for how long and with which companies?
Case Manager
The interviewers were cold. In the human service industry, interviewers are generally friendly or at least neutral. These people were cold and intimidating. If offered a case manager job, do not accept this job like I did. This is not a good company to work for as a case manager. Maybe the other positions are decent. I don't know.
- Typical interview questions.
L&OD Specialist
The interview process involved a 30-minute meeting with the hiring manager, followed by two 60-minute panel interviews. Additionally, there was a project to complete, for which no compensation was provided. It was a straightforward interview process, but it's crucial to be completely transparent about your entire background.
