Forward Deployed Engineer
Had a couple of initial screening calls with a business operations manager and the hiring manager. Then, there was a 60-minute live case study, which was a really great exercise. The CPO led it and was super engaged the whole time, very open to exploring ideas with me. After that, I had several more 'Meet the Team' type discussions. These were all good, and even the senior leaders were very engaged and willing to talk openly.

Partnerships Manager
I applied online and the operations lead reached out to me days later to set up a 30 min phone screen with an employee. It was a very basic phone screen, they didn't seem to know anything about my resume and asked only 2-3 basic questions. The next day, I was told the second step was a 3-part assignment, including written work and a video, due a few days later. This was time-consuming, and after I submitted it, I heard back days later that my assignment didn't align with the role. It was a lengthy assignment after a phone screener, especially since I felt I was overqualified. One of the writing prompts was unprofessional and irrelevant to the role. They also never mentioned the pay range. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

Essay Specialist
The interview process started with an editing test from the company. The interview itself was pretty informal. They asked me about my previous tutoring experience at my college and my major at the time. Also, they asked about my availability during the week and if I could handle editing essays with short deadlines.
- What makes you want this job?
- Can you tell me about your tutoring experience at college?
- What was your major when you were at college?
Forward Deployed Strategist
I had a screening call with someone who wasn't a recruiter, and they rushed through it in about 5 minutes. After passing that, I spoke with the VP of Product. They asked about my current company's ARR, but it felt like they were really asking about my personal impact on that ARR. It was a bit strange and felt like a standardized question for people coming from different startups. I'd probably avoid this company.
- Tell me about the ARR of your current company and how you contributed to its growth.
