I applied via a third-party recruiter and had an initial phone screen. After that, I progressed to a second interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager then selected me to move forward to a third interview with them and two directors who work with the position. All the interviews were conducted via video and were about 30 minutes long. Unfortunately, I wasn't selected after the third interview, but I was informed that the team would be scheduling a fourth interview with the finalist(s).

A recruiter from CAP first told me about this job. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, which went well. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview at their Northfield headquarters. I spoke with three people: the HR director, the person currently in the role who was moving to a different area, and the hiring manager. My interview slot ran a bit late because the candidate before me was held over, and they ended up getting the job. I felt our conversation went okay, but I guess the previous candidate's interview went even better or their skillset was a closer match.

I got a voicemail from a staffing specialist, but she accidentally left her own callback number. Then, another staffing specialist called me for a phone interview. She was really nice, didn't ask anything too tough, and gave me a good sense of the company culture and what it takes to succeed there. She said she'd follow up if the hiring manager wanted to move forward with an in-person interview. I got called back within a couple weeks to set up the in-person. They told me 1:30pm, I got there at 1:15pm, but nobody came to get me until 1:45pm. The interview started with the staffing specialist again, then I met with the HR Business Partner for over an hour. She was nice and gave a lot of info about the culture, training, and expectations for managers and team members. Next up was the hiring manager, who I met with for over an hour. He explained the expectations well, why the role was open, and the team's direction. I sent thank you notes and heard back from two people saying I'd hear from them 'next month' and that I was 'in the running'. I saw the job reposted several times, and despite the 'in the running' comment, I still haven't heard anything. After a month, I emailed to check on the process, but still no response. Clearly, communication isn't a priority for them.

I was contacted by the Talent Acquisition Officer for a 30 minute virtual interview for the DEI Specialist position. I showed up 10 minutes early, but the interviewer never joined the call and I waited 40 minutes. After reaching out to the talent acquisition officer, the interviewer, and the backup person for the talent acquisition officer, I got no response and was ghosted without any explanation. Not sure if there was a communication mix up, but it was a really poor experience.
