The interview process was quite long and involved many complex questions, more so than you might expect for an administrative role. The interviewers were pleasant, though a bit intimidating. They provided a good amount of detail about the job throughout, which was helpful for sharing my experience and showing interest.

I interviewed for the Buyer position via Hays recruitment. While the interview itself went well and I felt I effectively explained my suitability for the role with examples from my current job, I never received any feedback, which I found unprofessional.

Had an HR phone interview where they asked about my past experience. Then there was a technical interview with many technical questions. After that, an HR physical interview to negotiate the offer and discuss expected salary. Finally, a Revit test that wasn't too difficult, they mostly asked about my skills with Revit.

Group Presentation Behavioral Technical

So after they looked at my CV, they sent me this psychometric test, it was like a video game, which was pretty fun and different. Then, we had to go to a 6-hour assessment centre. It started with a presentation from the staff, then some group activities, and finally individual interviews. I noticed a bit of a "bro culture" vibe, but maybe it was just the people there that day. The group part had two team activities where we could decide our own roles. They want to see if you're a natural leader, so be confident! After that, I had like five super quick interviews, 3 minutes each, with different staff members. They asked about core ideas and competencies and how I thought I did in the earlier activities. It was well organized. They said we'd hear back in a week or two, but I didn't. After a month of chasing them for an update, I got rejected without any feedback, even though I asked for it. It felt disrespectful of my time.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you describe your experience with the in-person team-based activities and puzzles?
  • What is your understanding of safety?
