Lab Intern
I applied online and then got a phone call to come in for an interview. The interview was pretty relaxed, and we talked through my CV, my course, experience, and interests. We also discussed the role to see if it was a good fit for me. I got a phone call a few days later offering me the job.
- What is your motivation for pursuing an internship?
Intern
I applied on LinkedIn and then the HR contacted me for an initial phone chat. Then I had an interview with the department head and HR together, where we talked about my resume, my background, and my skills.

Comptable Clients
First interview was a phone call with the HR representative from Reims. She talked about the company and benefits like 2 remote work days, 13th month salary, and RTT. Second interview was with the HR Director, CFO, and Assistant CFO. It was friendly, but I was disappointed/surprised because the benefits the HR person mentioned in the first interview weren't actually being offered. For example, remote work seemed to be an issue for them because they couldn't track employees, even though there's a company agreement allowing it. The work week is 39 hours with inflexible hours (a long 1.5-hour lunch break). They mentioned 12 RTT days for a 39-hour week, which I think is a calculation error. The salary wasn't mentioned in the job posting and wasn't discussed in either interview. They prefer to base it on your current salary. And of course, nobody gets back to you, not even with a negative response.

Project Engineer
I had an interview for a job in Alaska, which is close to my home, but the interviewer was in NJ. They seemed impatient, kept cutting me off, and didn't let me fully answer their questions. They also didn't seem to know much about Alaska, got upset when I corrected them on a few things about the state, and I wasn't even able to ask any questions at the end – they just ended the call. Honestly, the HR person was one of the least professional I've encountered, being really snappy and rude.
