Applied online, had a phone screen with a co-founder, then an onsite interview and an online assessment. Got some nice feedback when I left the interview. It was all going great until they went silent after I finished the assessment. No decision, no feedback, just ghosted. Even when I followed up with the co-founder (who I was mainly talking to), I heard nothing. Good recruiters should really know better. It takes almost no time at all to update a candidate and protect your company's reputation. Even after reaching out to the co-founder (my primary point of contact) for an update: Nothing.

I was contacted by a recruiter from Coit for a marketing role. During the call, the recruiter asked if I'm married and have children. It was very unprofessional and I've never been asked that before in hundreds of interviews. I made a joke about it and didn't answer.

The interview process at Coit Group was really good. It started with a 3-hour initial interview, which sounds long but it's actually not. It's split into 30-minute sections where you meet different people, including the founder. They ask about your background, who you are, why you're interested in Coit, and about company culture and RPO recruiting. I liked this interview style because it was relaxed and like a conversation. Everyone I met was super friendly, genuine, and passionate about their work! They also seemed really interested in me. The whole process, from the first call to the onsite and getting an offer, went pretty quickly. I felt like the company was open and the VP of talent was easy to talk to and responsive. Their team is motivated and really cares about finding the right person for the job! Honestly, it was the best interview experience I've had.

I had a 3-hour interview process with 6 different people, each for about half an hour. They mostly asked the same questions. I met the CEO, who spent his time talking about himself, and the other co-founder didn't seem very engaged. Despite that, everyone was really nice and made me feel welcome, and it seems like a good company culture. They were very clear about their expectations for employees and the benefits offered.
