Talked to a recruiter who was great, but then the interview with the CFO was a disaster. The CFO was super late and didn't seem to care or be prepared at all. It was the worst interview ever, and we cut it short. I didn't even get to ask questions at the end because it just wasn't worth it due to the lack of professionalism. I'd rather look elsewhere for opportunities where the hiring manager is actually prepared.

I had a phone screen first, then a zoom interview with people from the department, and finally a third interview in the office. The whole thing took about two weeks and it went by fast and was easy to set up. Except for the phone screen, the interviews at the end were panel style. The questions were pretty standard, mostly to see if I'd be a good fit.

Behavioral Technical

This was for a senior finance role where the company was discreetly looking to replace someone. The interview process involved standard questions about work history and challenging situations, and also confirmed comfort with the geographic location post-reopening. The interviewer, a high-level executive, said they'd follow up in a few weeks, but after several weeks of silence, the recruiter provided no feedback. The process highlights potential issues with company transparency and professional courtesy in rejections.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through 6 interviews in total. The team I met with, all the way through to the very end, were wonderful and clearly brilliant. After my 7th and final interview, I waited 10 days for any kind of feedback, only to get a generic rejection email from talent acquisition. I reached out to ask for more specific feedback, given that I had invested over 6 hours into this process with them. The recruiter said they would try to get me some more detailed feedback, but I'm still waiting even after 4 weeks.
