Sales Engineer
I interviewed for a role I was definitely qualified for, maybe even overqualified. The first few steps were fine, but the last interview showed a big problem with company culture. One person asked if I had family in Arizona, which has nothing to do with my skills or experience and shouldn't matter in hiring. It made me wonder what they really look for. After weeks, the feedback was just that they picked other people, with no specific reasons about my qualifications. It felt like the decision wasn't based on merit but on other stuff. Just a heads up if you're thinking about interviewing, they might use weird reasons to decide.
- Do you have family in Arizona?
- Do you have roots in Arizona?
Sales Development Representative
This interview process was a joke. My initial interviews went well with HR and one of the sales reps. Then came the interview with a sales leader. I join the call and nobody comes on. After 15 minutes, I decide to leave the call and let HR know that nobody showed. They get back with me the next day and then reschedule me for the next week. Next week rolls around and then reschedule AGAIN. This was also during the holidays so people were out of office for periods of time; however, I didn’t get my final interview until 3 weeks after it was originally supposed to happen. At that point I’m 90% sure they had the spots filled, and had the final interview with me so they didn’t look bad. What a waste of time and effort, and I’m glad I didn’t get the role if this is how they respect people’s time.
- Tell me about a time you had to sell something.
Software Developer
very smooth. no tricky question were asked. overall i had a really good experience. if you want to be in this company as a software developer, practice coding questions. It typically involves application submission, initial screening, interviews (which may include phone, video, or in-person meetings), and potentially assessments or background checks.
- Can you solve a coding question related to data structures and algorithms?
Product Marketing Intern
It was pretty smooth, though it took a while. It's a pretty basic behavioral interview and then a slightly more technical one where you discuss your future and past work. Nothing to stress about. I'd really suggest going over your resume, making sure you're super solid on what you achieved and why maybe you didn't get more done elsewhere.
- What are some current and future applications for machine vision technology?
- Can you discuss your previous work experiences and your career goals?
- Describe your accomplishments and any challenges you faced in previous roles.
