The interview was pretty laid back, it was more like a conversation where I answered questions. It felt good overall until I didn't hear back about what was next. I had to reach out to their recruiting agency after about 3 days for an update and they just told me they went with someone else, even though I'd already asked about that before. So, what started as a good experience turned out bad because they ghosted me and didn't even acknowledge my calls asking for updates. It was an okay interview, but the communication afterwards was terrible, like I wasn't even important.

The interview was pretty easy, when you arrived you were given a typing test which is cool but useless when thinking about it because the speed in which a person types shouldn't dictate the work ethic or quality a person can present. After the type test, you were taken to a conference room where you were interviewed by 5 people who read questions off a paper, which didn't make it feel like genuine questions, just routine. Once you finish the interview, you proceed with being given more tests to determine competence, and the process wasn't great, it was more annoying than productive.

I spoke with a pretty junior interviewer who seemed to be following a script, which was a bit odd given my senior experience. I wasn't sure about the 'Sr Specialist' title and if I'd be overqualified, so I asked about the levels. The interviewer was evasive and didn't give straight answers. Apparently, everyone has to do an Excel test, even for a senior role. The interviewer initially said the role was M-F, 9-5, which felt misleading for a senior position. Honestly, just run.

After applying online, I heard back from the HR recruiter about a week later for a quick 15-minute phone chat. Then, I was set up for an in-person interview with the office manager in Chicago, which was about an hour long and covered my background and customer service experiences. A week after that, they emailed to set up a second interview, this time with the manager and two other customer service reps. This one was about 45 minutes and included some math problems and hypothetical 'what-if' questions. They mentioned other interviews were ongoing and a decision would be made the following week.
