It started with a pretty easy online assessment on their own platform. After that, there was one technical interview with the manager and some senior devs. They hit me with a LeetCode hard question and some technical C++ questions, which was a bit odd since the role was for Python.

The interview process went fantastic. Which I would assume isn't something you would expect to hear at most companies. Jeremy, the recruiter, did amazing with setting up the calls and making sure I had all of the information I needed to be successful. He did an amazing job acting as my advocate. After I met with Jeremy, I proceeded to meet with people throughout the organization to make sure this was a great fit on both sides. It was nice to meet with different people throughout the organization to get everyone's individual feedback. My favorite part of all of this. I asked each person I (I met with 7 people), what they would give their happiness with Codility, with 10 being the happiest you could ever be. No one gave below an 8 and THAT is saying something.

First, I had an initial screening call with the internal recruiter. They were really personable and gave me some great insights into the business and their goals. After that, I spoke with the Director of CS. Then, I had a call with two team members, which was a great way to get a different viewpoint. The final call was with the VP of CS. From all the stages, I was able to get a solid overview and understanding of the role and business direction to determine if it was the right fit.

So I had 3 online interviews, one with HR, then the hiring manager, and then a team member. All went pretty well, I thought. But then the technical test that was supposed to be the fourth interview never happened. They never scheduled it or anything. And then... no feedback. Nothing. I tried emailing the people I talked to, but they never wrote back. I checked LinkedIn and turns out they don't even work there anymore (!). So basically a whole day wasted on interviews, prep, and chasing people.
