It was a pretty standard and thorough interview. They asked about my resume and my past work, including the tech I used in projects. Also asked about how I develop my skills and learn new things. It was a deep technical interview, but overall the vibe was chill.

I came into a board room, and we sat round table style. Each person went around and asked me questions one by one. It was very organized. We talked about their footprint and what the company does, and how they wanted me to contribute.

Behavioral Technical

I had a phone interview and they asked for references. The phone interview went really well, so I let my references know they might get a call. Then I waited over two weeks for a response, and nothing happened. It's really unprofessional to ask for references and then not even call them. I respect my references, so telling them to expect a call and then not following through is just completely unprofessional. In my 10 years of contracting, I've never seen anything this unprofessional.
