CodeSignal's interview process was really thorough, which made sense since they're hiring their first Head of Solutions. I got to talk to people across my reporting line, which gave me a lot of different viewpoints. They really seemed to live their company values. A cool part was that they used their own assessment tool, so I got to 'drink their own champagne.' It was a unique challenge and gave me a great feel for their solution and what they offer.

Coding Behavioral Technical

I did a coding and customer communication take-home exercise. After that, HR set up an interview with the SVP of Product since the hiring manager wasn't available. It was supposed to be behavioral, but they also asked about my technical background and to explain some tech concepts. There wasn't a separate HR screening, and it seemed like they relied heavily on their own internal product knowledge for candidate selection.

  • Can you discuss a recent technology you learned and situations where you'd suggest using it?
