A couple days after applying, I got sent an assessment on CodeSignal. If I passed that, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager, who is the Lead for Candidate Experience. The last step was a virtual on-site where I met individually with the Lead of Candidate Experience, the Director of Recruiting, the Director of Product & Eng., and the CEO. The whole experience with CodeSignal was great. They communicated and updated me quickly after each step, and everyone I talked to was really positive and welcoming, which made the interviews nice and engaging. You can tell CodeSignal cares a lot about their culture and mission, and they use a mix of behavioral questions and skill tests to make sure they find the right person.

I was contacted on LinkedIn about this job. The first step was talking to the hiring manager. It was strange because I applied for a few roles but could only continue with one interview. The manager seemed unqualified, repeatedly asking the same question and having no HR background. She also didn't mention the salary. After that, I completed an assessment and then got a rejection email a few days later. Honestly, I don't get how this company has good reviews.

There was one pre-screening interview, and then a follow-up interview with 4 people from the organization. The interviews were all one-on-one and included role-playing exercises that differed in difficulty. It was good to meet different people in the organization and hear their opinions.
