The interview process kicked off with a phone screen. After that, there was a code challenge where I had to screen share my environment. Then came teaching samples for both staff and students. The final step was an interview with the CEO, along with reference checks and other similar things.

The interview process began with a 30 minute phone interview. After that, I was invited in for an in person interview. First, I was asked to create an outline of the process I would use to find/hire teaching assistants in a google doc. Then, during the in person interview, we worked collaboratively in building out that process, which lasted about an hour. After that, it moved onto about an hour of behavioral questions with different interviewers. Then, I was asked to identify three important values from a list or write in ones that weren't on the list. The final 30-45 minutes were with the CEO discussing the schools top three core values and what my top three core values were. It was a long process but I think that is to help ensure they get individuals who have a strong desire to be there.

Behavioral Technical

After a quick facility tour, I met with the CFO and the current accounting manager. We talked for over an hour, and they asked a ton of questions – it felt more like an interrogation! Then, unexpectedly, I had to complete a skills test, which was a mock email exercise to see how I'd handle different situations via email.
