Marketing
The interview process was quick, efficient, and thorough, involving about 2-3 rounds. It focused on whether I was a good culture fit, my life story, technical expertise, past experience, and insights into campaigns. They asked data-driven questions to make sure everything was relevant and in-depth.
- Can you describe a campaign you worked on, detailing your approach and the outcomes?
Program Manager
I saw the job on LinkedIn and a recruiter emailed me. We had a quick call, and then they set up interviews with two team members. I heard back the same day about a second round, which was the following week. Each interview was about 30 minutes and focused on my past work. The person in the second interview was really serious and not very friendly.
- Tell me about a time you ran into problems working with different teams and how you handled it.
- Have you had experience working with cross-functional teams before?
UX Designer
The talent coordinator reached out to me to schedule an initial phone call. I scheduled the call and followed up via email. The day before the scheduled call, I noticed that the event invitation I had received was canceled but I did not receive any notice. I sent another email asking if there was a better day and time for the call. I haven't received any communication back and I was never interviewed by phone. I was excited about this role and this experience was pretty lousy. I find it discourteous and unprofessional to have absolutely no communication whatsoever.
- Would you be open to scheduling a phone call?
Product Manager
So first, there was a recruiter screen, and then I chatted with the Managing Director for Product and Engineering. The recruiter was super energetic and engaging, but the interviewer wasn't really into it, didn't seem that interested in learning about my background or what I could bring. I didn't make it to the next stage 'cause my background wasn't as detailed as they wanted for this leadership gig.
- What would your ideal role be if you could create it from scratch?
- Can you share your experience with writing test cases?
