First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Coca-Cola Consolidated.

I applied online and got a call back from the recruiter within a day or two. They wanted to schedule an interview for the next morning, but I was able to go about a week later. The recruiter was nice, helpful, and professional, but it would have been better if they knew more about the pay, as we might have wasted each other's time. Two merchandising managers/supervisors interviewed me in their office.
- What prompts your interest in leaving your current role?
- Are you able to consistently work 10-12 hour days?
- Are you able to drive your own vehicle for work purposes?
Merchandiser
This job didn't require experience so many of the questions were general. The manager was very conversational, so I felt like he was trying to get a read on my personality. I think the manager might have oversold the job. This position has a lot of turnover so they're eager for you to take the job. The role has evolved since I was hired. Previously, they only hired full-time employees. Now, the company hires part-time workers, and only if they work exceptionally hard and follow all rules perfectly do they get the chance to become full-time. It's a bit disheartening because it's a demanding job, so there's nothing particularly appealing about doing it full-time.
- How would you handle an angry store manager?

I started off introducing myself to the hiring manager and a route manager. I asked them the first questions, which were why they work at CCBCC and what positive points they've had at this business. It ended up being me interviewing them to see if I would really like to work there. I'm a pretty blunt person and don't sugarcoat anything, and I expect the company I work for doesn't either. The interview went very well and I now work for CCBCC.

- Why do you work at CCBCC?
- What are some good things about working here?
