My interview experience with Cobalt was really bad. First, I had a 30-minute interview and was told I passed to the next stage, which was an in-person demo of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales. The Associate Director of Customer Success & Support said I could reach out with questions. I did when the proposed times didn't work, and I tried to reschedule. I followed up and waited, but got no response. Then, I was rejected out of the blue. No explanation, just silence until the rejection email. It's unprofessional to make candidates put in so much effort and then ghost them. I was told by the Associate Director they're usually responsive, but it felt like my time and effort meant nothing. If this is how they treat candidates, I can't imagine how they treat employees or clients. Good luck if you need accommodations – you'll be on your own.

I got through the C# online assessment, but then I got rejected after the first virtual interview. It was a mix of technical stuff and behavioral questions about my past. I thought I did well enough to move on, but then I got rejected. They said I didn't have a positive or gracious tone when I asked for feedback, and maybe during the interview too. I think I was professional during the interview, but maybe asking for feedback was a bit much, tone-wise. I don't think that was the real reason though, and it goes against their 'Transparency' value.

The interview process at Cobalt started with an application, then a general interview. After that, I had to give a presentation to the company about Dynamics 365 CRM and also show them how to use the software. This was followed by a short follow-up interview and then a final chat about culture and any questions I had. Cobalt also requires a personality test and college transcripts. There might also be a noncompete agreement to sign. I had a good experience with Cobalt's interview process overall. The first interview with the Director of Consulting was professional but also personal. Preparing for the joint presentation and showcase was tough, but I wanted the role, so I put a lot of that pressure on myself. It actually helped me with my current work there. That interview was the main part, lasting 1.5-2 hours. The rest was pretty smooth. I had mixed feelings about the people I met, but I liked the culture and values. I've been happy here since accepting.

Had three phone screenings, followed by an in-person interview. They initially said C# knowledge wasn't necessary but then tested on it during the technical interview. The in-person involved meeting three interviewers for basic programming questions. Subsequently, there were more interviews including HR, the CEO, and other employees. The overall experience felt like an interrogation, and the impression was that they wanted to conclude the process quickly from the moment I walked in.
