First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Coast to Coast Events.
Sales and Marketing Representative
We had a Zoom interview first, and I was the only one from my group that showed up. Then I got moved to a second round interview in person. I thought it was just me and one other candidate, but nope, multiple people showed up. The interviewer told me they are always hiring for this position.
- What were your salary expectations?
Advertising Agent
The interview process here is actually really nice. It was 3 steps. The Hiring Manager called me and let me know I was being looked at for an interview and could be seen as soon as possible. The second interview was like they were getting to know me and explained the growing process within the company. You do sales and advertising for different companies for a while and then they move you into business management. They explained the team office setting and then they called me back and said they wanted to bring me onto their team.
- Have you had experience with major brands or large clients?
- What are your career aspirations?
- Are you interested in advancing within the company?
Promotional Sales and Marketing
First, I had a phone call with the hiring manager. He introduced himself and asked me about my marketing experience and my future goals. After that, things got a little strange because he told me the next interview would be at Sam's Club. It turns out the job is actually selling phones, TVs, and DirectTV at Sam's Club, which wasn't what I expected from the website or job description. In the second interview, they asked me pretty much the same questions as the first interview, which makes me think they don't communicate with each other. Later, I got an email, which seemed automated, saying I missed my second interview. Whether it was automated or not, it just confirmed to me that there's a lack of communication within the company.
- Do you have any family?
- Are you looking to work in one place or travel?
Sales Representative
Coast to Coast Events really wants you to have fun and grow, both inside and outside the company. I had three rounds of interviews, and each one gave me a better sense of their product and clients. It really showed me their amazing customer service and management training. I was looking for an office job where I could learn every part of business management, and Coast to Coast Events offers that with entry-level training and a shot at moving up. If you want to learn about business and make good money, this is the place. I'm super excited to start!
