The interview process was really simple. I got an email from the hiring manager to schedule a Zoom video call. I talked with the manager and some of the dev team. The call was about an hour and had a mix of behavioral and technical questions. Towards the end, there was a technical assessment where I had to solve a coding problem using any language I wanted or even pseudocode. They offered me the job the day after.

It was pretty straightforward, you just gotta know your stuff. They asked about past software projects, how you'd transfer knowledge of a codebase, project coordination, and task estimation. Basically, know your stuff.

I had a 45 minute interview. They asked a couple typical questions, and we talked about my projects. Most of the interview was technical stuff. The interviewer was bad at explaining what the interview was about and asked questions that didn't match the job description or my resume. They also asked if I could work on Sundays and be on-call.
