I had a 40-minute video interview and was told I'd hear back in two weeks. The questions were about my background, my understanding of the role and why I wanted it, my weaknesses, and a previous project.
- Please introduce yourself.
- What's your understanding of the role and why are you applying for it?
- Can you tell me about your biggest weakness?

The talent acquisition team was great and made the process go smoothly. It was a lengthy process, but I could tell that the company culture really focuses on its people. It was worth the wait.
- Can you present a comprehensive business plan?

I went through a long process of 9 steps within three months - passed one screening, two long 1.5 hours behavior interviews with recruiting and district manager, filled two long assessments and finally a Business and marketing plan you have to make in a power point format and present to two district managers. Lengthy and hectic process. My presentation was great in terms of content as the recruiter informed me, however after presenting a detailed and great presentation , I was declined. This was an unbelievable frustration after going through all that. It is torture and unfair for the candidates. Normally when teaching in the level of presenting your business plan, companies normally ask for after recruitment not before. Additionally, a decision had to be made after the interviews were over. It is unfortunate for a great employer like The Cooperators implement such lengthy process just to decline a potential candidate after that! I know I had the potential as clearly shown in t he words of the interviewer and hoped they would at least utilize my experience and skills somewhere else. The process is honestly a lengthy but efficient selection process, however, the process should stop at the interview and not make candidates go through two weeks of time and effort to make the business plan for nothing. I put so much effort and I am so frustrated this happened to me. I could have done something more useful in my waisted time to look for other career jobs.
- Tell me about a time when you had to answer untraditional behavior questions using real experiences.
