The interview process at CO-OP was really well put together. My recruiter was great with communication, way better than anywhere else I interviewed over the last 10 months. I had four interviews over two weeks and got a good offer that I accepted. They even surprised me with a $5000 sign-on bonus at the end, which was awesome! I felt genuinely valued, and the interviews were comfortable, in-depth, and focused on things relevant to the job.

I had a 30-35 minute phone call with a recruiter about a possible job. It went well and the recruiter was professional. But then I found out the job was taken down from LinkedIn and Dice shortly after our call. This made me think about internal hiring or other reasons the job might be gone. While internal hiring happens, it would have been better if they told me, since I asked about the hiring process. I feel like my time might have been wasted if they already decided to hire internally. I'm not sure if our talk was just to satisfy a legal requirement for candidate interactions. Still, I appreciate the recruiter's time and the good experience during the call.

First, I spoke with the HR Manager for a pretty long call, over an hour, and it was super interesting. The recruiter knew a lot about the job and seemed really into it. Then, I had interviews with the VP who would be my first boss, and then the hiring manager. They both seemed to know their stuff about events and were pretty clear about what kind of person and experience they needed. The last step involved a timed writing test where I had to create a marketing plan, and then I interviewed with the Sr. VP.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • I was asked to write a detailed marketing plan, which had to include specifics about the company and industry (some facts provided, some had to be based on pre-interview research), in a timed situation - approximately 3 hours. This was the most unexpected request.

It was a pretty quick process with three interview rounds. First, a chat with HR, then a meeting with the hiring manager, and finally, an interview with a senior team member. Having prior experience in the fintech industry is a plus, and you really need to know your stuff.
