This was the most uncomfortable interview experience I've ever had. The manager, who didn't even introduce himself and just stood with his arms crossed, asked random, disconnected questions. The rest of the interviewers just sat there staring straight ahead. There was no interaction between them, and it felt really strange. It's evident that the company has poor culture and morale. The team appears to be under a lot of stress, likely because they are a critical bottleneck. I hope they hire external candidates for their CSO role because I wouldn't want to work under that manager. This is the only job rejection that actually made me feel relieved.

Had a direct call with the CTO. He seems like a nice guy, and everyone there seems to like him. It seems like a lot of really smart people work there. Hope it works out! The culture seems good.

The interview process was really unprofessional, with old-fashioned methods and a lowball offer. While some of the work seems interesting, I was really put off by how they handled salary, being on time, talking to candidates, and just general professionalism.

This felt very impersonal with delayed updates. Instead of a recruiter call to check for fit, I went straight into virtual interviews with Senior Leaders. This was odd because the position is on-site. The CFO made a comment about a rural Utah town being "backwards," and at that point, I knew the interview was not going well.
