Cash Operations
The interview process was easy and the people were very friendly, which helped me not be nervous. The managers were good and supportive. CMS is a good company with locations all over India.
- Tell me about your experience in cash management.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe your experience.
Account Executive
The interview process included some interview questions like tell me about your self and previous job experiences, and some Excel related questions and an aptitude test. There was a final HR round for salary decision and requirement to join within 15 days.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you tell me about your past work experiences?
- Do you have questions about using Excel?
Strategy Management Trainee
There were 2 rounds. The first round was an aptitude test with 50 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. The first 20 questions were on Data Interpretation, with 3-5 datasets each (sales, transportation, etc.) and were calculative. The next 30 questions were like mini business cases, asking how you would react to problems as a manager, or what you'd do if your manager was biased. It required common sense. The interview at the HO in Mumbai involved a case study on Make or Buy (in-house vs. outsource). It required some calculations and conclusions, presented using a PPT. During the interview, you had to justify your solution. There were also a few questions on work experience and summer internship.
- What's the primary reason for outsourcing?
- What prevents a supplier from backward integration?
- How would you manage that situation?
Software Developer
The interview process was okay. First, there was a long written test in .net and sql. I'm not sure why they had such an extensive test. The second round was a face-to-face with two seniors who asked the same questions from the written test. It makes me wonder about the point of the written test if they were just going to repeat the questions in person. After the face-to-face, I was told the HR person would review the written test and call me. This implies I'm rejected, though I don't know why. My face-to-face interview went well, covering basic .net and sql questions. Good luck to others.
- Can you explain the difference between string and string builder?
- What is the purpose of ref and out keywords?
- Describe the difference between an abstract class and an interface.
