First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CMI.
Mechanical Technician
It was a very productive process, a relaxed chat with questions and answers, a chance to exchange experiences. I spoke with a very experienced person who led the interview.
- How long have you been working in the field?
- How do you see yourself in one year at the company you wish to aim for?
Redactor
It was one interview with the director. Very transparent and enjoyable. They assessed my communication skills and didn't judge my lack of experience in the field but rather my desire for professional development.
- Why did you study journalism and social communication?
Search Analyst
This was a tough 30-minute phone interview for an entry-level job, where they were looking for experience. The interviewer, calling from California, was nice. She used my resume and experiences to see how I could apply them in this work environment and position. There's a training program, but they still need Excel experience. I didn't pass this first interview, so I'm not sure what the next interview would be like.
- Are you familiar with using pivot tables?
Purchasing Manager
The interview process was very extensive and thorough. It was a 6-step process, which sometimes branched out to a few extra steps. It was very organized and secretive. I had to take various different psychological tests. I was told the complete process would take up to 6 months.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Can you tell me about your personal family life?
