First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CME Associates.
Construction Technician
The interview wasn't too tough. They asked about my education and work history related to the job. We also talked about the company's past, what benefits and locations are offered, and what the job entails.
- Tell me about a time you faced a challenge and how you handled it.
Engineer
The interview process was helpful and informative, with good interaction with the company and employees. It happened online and in a timely manner, lasting about forty minutes on a weekend. I did some preparation for it.
- What are your career aspirations?
Professional Engineer
The interview process was pretty standard overall, but they did give a personality test. It was strange how they handled the results, though; they were really secretive about how they used that info to assess you or figure out your career trajectory.
- In what ways could you contribute to our company?
Geologist
I got this role through a recruiter, and the interview was a one-on-one at the ICON office in Monmouth Junction, NJ. Everyone was super welcoming, from the receptionist to my interviewer. The interview took about 1.5 hours. First, they gave me a quick rundown of the company's history. Then, we went over my resume, so definitely be ready to talk in-depth about your background and experience, and have reasons for any employment gaps. After that, I got to ask my questions, and I'd suggest bringing a printed list and taking notes.
- Could you discuss the reasons behind your year-long break from working in your field and what you did during that time?
