First, there were some behavior questions, and then we had a calling simulation where I had to answer questions like what to do if a customer wants to check their balance or if they've forgotten their password. I also had to respond to a client asking for financial investment recommendations.

I applied online and then got an email about a week later from a recruiter to set up an intro call. It was pretty casual and conversational; they told me about the role and I shared my experience. They said they'd follow up in a few days about a second interview. They mentioned it was a 2-stage process, though it felt like three: intro call, virtual interview, and then a final interview. I didn't hear back for 2.5 weeks until they asked if I was still interested and suggested another role. We set up a virtual interview with a hiring manager for two days later. During the virtual call, I was the only one with my camera on, which was weird. A few days after that, they reached out to have me come onsite for an interview with the original hiring manager and another one for the role I applied for. I confirmed it was the last interview, and they said a decision would be made in 24-48 hours. I did the interview and still haven't heard back almost two weeks later, no updates at all. So, I'm taking this as being ghosted after being really professional and flexible. A real two-step interview process shouldn't take nearly two months.

The interview process involved 3 stages. First, a quick 10-15 minute phone screening. Then, a 30-minute MS Teams meeting. Finally, there were 4 separate 30-minute in-person interviews. Everyone I met was really great and friendly. I talked with people from mid-level to senior roles, all the way up to management, and I didn't feel nervous at all.

The whole thing took about two months, with eight interviews total. There were three separate hour-long interviews with two hiring managers and a director, and I even flew out of state for them. After waiting an extra week, I had to chase down the recruiter for an answer, only to find out they weren't moving forward. It turns out they knew the answer earlier that week. The feedback I got was even worse – they were really disrespectful and didn't consider my time or expectations, which is not cool, especially with everything going on.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Be ready for three separate hours of interviews with at least two HR Hiring Managers.
  • Expect another two to three hours with the director.
  • And maybe an hour with the Operations Manager.
