First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clutch.
Product Manager
The interview process focuses on key product management abilities. You can expect questions about assessing risks, discussing previous errors and what you learned, gathering requirements effectively, and how you'd approach designing and implementing a solution without any limitations.
- If you had unlimited resources, how would you approach managing and delivering a solution for a past project you worked on?
Software Engineer
This was for a junior role, as I do not have much work experience as a software engineer but still meet their job description requirements 100%. Recruiter screening. Never made it past recruiter screening despite my best efforts. Just awful, the people on Glassdoor saying the same thing are right. If you are not willing to even move candidates to even ONE round of interview despite accepting them through resume screenings, your process is inherently flawed, and this is why big tech companies are moving away from recruiter screenings into at least the 1st round of the interview process before elimination. Stop wasting candidates' time. Do better.
- What's your motivation for seeking this role?
Operations Coordinator
The interview process had three main parts. First, there was a phone screen. After that, I had a video interview with someone in middle management. The final step was an in-person meeting with leadership, which also included a quick tour of the office. I got the offer about two weeks after the last interview, and I started the job roughly a month after that.
- What are some ideas you have for improving employee engagement?
Content Editor
The interview process was pretty straightforward and moved quickly. They were responsive but I was extremely disappointed that after 4 rounds of interviews, they ghosted me after the final interview. I was told I would hear back and never heard anything. Followed up with the recruiter twice and got no response. I was pretty disappointed and found it quite unprofessional to not even be given the courtesy of a response after giving many hours of my time to the interview process.
