First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ClubLink.
Accounting Assistant
It was a 30-minute interview, and we mostly talked about Accounting stuff, like if you know Debit and Credit. Also, I asked about your Excel skills and what you've done with it.
- What do you believe is the most crucial trait for a leader to possess?
Golf Services
Club Link tends to hire a lot of people at their job fairs which happen every year in Feb/March by location. You'll have a casual chat with a hiring manager about a department you're interested in. If they like what they see, they might just offer you the job right there. Even if they don't offer you a job then and there, they might still reach out after the job fair because they're trying to gauge how many candidates are out there.
- Could you tell me about your top three strengths and two weaknesses?
Banquet Server
The first 'interview' was at a hiring fair. I did a general screening and handed over my resume. It only took about 5 minutes. A week later, I got an interview offer. It was a typical behavioural interview. I went in, met the banquets manager, and we talked for about 30 minutes. It was casual and laid back. The questions weren't too tough, pretty standard for hospitality.
- What actions would you take if a guest complained about their meal?
Sales Associate
The interview went well with the head of membership sales for Clublink. She asked several questions and it went smoothly. Many personal questions and experiences were asked during the interview.
- In what ways do you believe your past job experiences would be beneficial for this role?
