The interview seemed surprisingly easy, not focusing on work ethic questions like 'what would you do in X situation?'. Instead, the interviewer spent a lot of time discussing company culture. I felt they were hiring based on 'vibes' rather than work ethic or experience. My guess is that I didn't fit the 'vibe' they wanted, based on former employee reviews. I also suspect a company that repeatedly mentions not micromanaging actually does. A company that doesn't micromanage simply operates that way without advertising it. I received a rejection email the next day.

The interview was pretty short and felt a bit awkward. The interviewer seemed nice, but they brought up how I change jobs frequently. This was a bit surprising to me because I was at my current job for 2 years and the one before that for over 4 years. They mentioned that people don't tend to stay at jobs for long these days, which caught me off guard.

I had a pre-screening phone interview first, checking my experience and how I communicate on the phone. Then, I had a 1:1 with an HR manager, mostly standard sales-related questions. After that, there was a skills test to see if I had the necessary abilities, and the process wrapped up with an interview with the Sales Director.

The interview was with the manager, and it only lasted about 20-30 minutes. It felt super awkward and tense, and she brought up how I change jobs frequently even though I was at my current company for 2 years and the previous one for 4. I didn't get the job and I think I got an email saying they went with someone else.
