So, a recruiter hit me up about salary negotiation. I said it was flexible, and then dove into this pretty intense interview process. It started with a personality test, then a one-way interview, followed by a virtual one-on-one, then a team interview with a presentation. The whole thing wrapped up with a final interview with the hiring manager. Took about a month in total. Honestly, it was a really long and draining process, just to get rejected and told they're moving on with other folks. For future reference, this company might wanna think about speeding up their hiring timeline, 'cause going through all these steps for a 'no thanks' is pretty exhausting.

It was a pretty rigorous but ultimately rewarding process! It broke down into 4 main parts. First, after I sent in my application and they reviewed it, I got contacted to do an IQ/Personality Test Set and also an Auxiliary Interview where I had to record my answers to pre-recorded questions. Second, I then had a 1-on-1 interview over Skype with the Hiring Manager. Third, after that, I moved on to the next part which involved attending a group panel meeting at their office. I had to prepare a 30-minute presentation for this on a topic they gave me. Fourth and finally, I had one last 1-on-1 Skype interview, this time with the Director of Launch & Education. They gave me a call with an offer just a few days later.

Club Automation's interview process is thorough and requires time. It left me with a positive impression that the company is committed to finding the best fit. The first interview was a 30-minute phone screening with the recruiter. After that, I received an email with a link to an online aptitude test and personality assessment. The timed aptitude test had 50 questions in 15 minutes and covered math, pattern recognition, and logic, similar to Wonderlic. About a week later, I had a follow-up video interview with the hiring manager. The most unique step was a peer presentation. I was given 'homework' a few days before the onsite interview, which involved testing a web application. My presentation was to report the issues, bugs, and defects I found to my potential teammates, who then interviewed me for the rest of the time. Everyone was friendly and approachable, and communication from recruiters and the hiring manager was excellent. My questions were answered promptly, and I was always informed about the next steps.

The recruiter was super nice and helpful, and it was a breeze to schedule interview times! Club Automation knows what they're looking for in a candidate, and everyone I spoke with, from the team lead to people in other departments, was happy to answer my questions and shared a lot of interesting info about the company and their roles.
