An internal recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn and set up a 1:1 chat over IP. It seemed like they were really trying to get market intelligence from people in F&B/Delivery Startups, and not actually hiring. I'd advise not to share confidential info or false figures with them. They've supposedly been hiring in the UAE for 6 months, and I've heard they've approached people in my network and then ghosted them after getting data. So, I wasn't planning on sharing anything. This feels like an Uber 2.0 strategy, just less subtly executed.

The interview process moved quickly, but after completing all the steps, there was no communication. I followed up with all the hiring managers, but no one responded. Eventually, I found a different recruiter on LinkedIn who informed me they had chosen another candidate. Two weeks later, a new recruiter contacted me about applying for the same position. When I mentioned I had already interviewed, they claimed it wasn't in their system. This was a very disorganized experience, making me question the company's overall organization.

The interview process started with an HR screening, followed by an Area/Peer Interview. Next was the Hiring Manager Interview. The penultimate stage was an assessment with the leadership team, which included the Hiring Manager, GM, and Hiring Manager Peers from other regions. Finally, an offer was extended.
