Operations Manager
The process was super friendly and down to earth, making me feel really comfortable throughout. It felt more like a casual chat, and I was at ease the entire time. Overall, a really positive experience.
- How would you integrate yourself into an established, high-performing team?
Operations Manager
I applied for the AOM position and sent an aggressive cover letter (I was confident that the job was the right one for me). A CloudKitchens internal recruiter called me the next day and we talked for about 30 minutes. Several days later I did back-to-back interviews with two different senior operations managers. They were both really nice and did a great job of describing the company and the position and asked a bunch of situational questions to see how I would handle all kinds of problems and emergencies (which is definitely what you need to do in this job).
- Why do you want to work here?
Operations Manager
Got hit up by a recruiter on LinkedIn, did a phone screen, then had a zoom call with the hiring manager. Talked a bit about my background and typical stuff, then got asked how I'd approach a specific planning scenario where I had zero data or prior experience. It took up the whole time, even after I answered and explained my reasoning. Never heard back about rejection or next steps, even months later. So yeah, ghosted.
- How would you approach a specific planning situation when faced with no data and no prior experience in that area?
