There are about 3 to 5 rounds in the interview process. The last round is a panel interview with the Hiring Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and the Channel Sales Manager. In one of the interviews, you will do a role play with one of them, pitching them a product or, in my case, a candidate (my previous role was in Finance Recruiting), based on your past experience. You need to be able to respond to rebuttals or product knowledge questions, and also figure out what the prospect needs.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process involved two initial chats with a recruiter and a sales manager. Then, there was a homework assignment that included a case study and a presentation. Finally, there was an hour-long panel interview, also with a case study. It was a friendly and casual vibe, and they offered helpful feedback. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd be keen to work there.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Group

For the final interview, I had to do an exercise where I researched restaurants that would be a good fit for Cloud and explained my choices. The exercise asked me to detail the criteria I used to pick those restaurants and why. I also had to write an email to the owner of a target restaurant and make a 2-minute video pitch to them. The final round had 4 interviews, each 45 minutes, totaling 3-4 hours. The first interviewer was really rude and late. He was dismissive and confrontational, making it feel unwelcoming. It was a Zoom interview, and he seemed distracted and not paying attention, which was unprofessional. I mentioned this to my last interviewer (who was really nice) when she asked about my interviews, and she seemed to agree about him. The final interviewer had me do a call exercise where I had to call random companies and ask them to take a quick survey about their thoughts on cold calling in exchange for a $10 Amazon gift card. They observed me making these calls for 20-30 minutes to see how comfortable I was on the phone. It felt pretty silly.
