First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cloudian.
Senior Technical Support Engineer
The interview process was smooth and the organisation is friendly and easy to talk to. They are customer-oriented and have a good vision and mission. It's definitely a good company to work with to learn modern cloud techniques and cloud-based solutions. Cloud-based solutions are the future technology improvements in the near future. Looking forward to joining this organisation and contributing my knowledge.
- Questions related to Linux and scenarios you might encounter.
Distributed Software Engineer
First, a 30-minute phone call where they check if you have distributed system experience, and then a technical phone interview with online sharing. They did some algorithm and design tests, asking to find loops and improve them.
- Questions about basic algorithm, Java data structures, and your projects.
- Basic algorithm questions and a design question about Twitter.
- Did you have distributed system experience?
Technical Support Engineer
So basically the hiring process starts with a technical assessment for basic skills. Then there are two technical interviews to check your expertise and how you solve problems. After that, a manager interviews you to see if you can lead and fit into the team. Then HR handles the paperwork, and sometimes a higher management interview happens to get a strategic view.
- Could you elaborate on your experience and analytical skills?
Channel Marketing Manager
I was contacted by the hiring manager for a phone screen, which went really well. When I arrived for the in-person interview, I was told that they had already offered the position to someone else but wanted to interview candidates to see what else is out there. This is a waste of candidates' time.
- What makes you interested in working here?
