Market Manager
Remote companies sure do have a tough interview process to make sure they get the right person. However, it was super disappointing to get to the 4th step of the interview process, only for the Regional Sales Manager based in Canada to hardly give me the time of day. The interview was supposed to be an hour, but she only got through three questions before saying she had to leave. I thought it was really bad form, especially since I had to take time off work for this interview and she cut me off before I could even really get into my background, saying she had to go.
- How can we improve our product?
Market Manager
I had an initial chat with HR about my background, then took an assessment and personality test. The virtual interview was a bit stressful, answering 9 questions with only a minute for each. It's easier to talk to someone than to record yourself. Meeting my future colleagues was friendly and straightforward. I really liked meeting the team beforehand and hearing about their experiences and the company's values.
- Tell us a funny story.
- What is your favorite dessert?
- Do you have any outside interests?
Manager
After submitting the online application, you'll usually get two tests (cognitive and profile). If they like you, you'll proceed to four interviews: HR, Manager, Director, and VP.
- Can you share details about your professional background?
