So I went through 4 interview rounds and had to give a presentation, and they even wanted a live demo of a CI/CD project I had to put together. The interviewers were super late to my presentation, like showing up 10 mins before it ended. They mostly just interrupted me the whole time and seemed clueless on how to even interview someone professionally. The recruiting part was the worst. After making me do all this work and wasting my time, they said they aren't giving out offers until 2022. It's shady because why would you interview me if you weren't planning to hire? Or was that just another lie from CloudBakers? Total trash company. I hope they get what they deserve. Seriously, avoid them. Don't even bother talking to them because they just lie to waste your time and play games, especially around Christmas when you could be with family.

I really liked the interview process at Cloudbakers! It was super organized, moved fast, and felt really positive and laid-back. You can totally see their awesome culture and how they care about clients and each other. I applied online on their website and the HR manager got back to me in about a week. The process involved two phone chats, one with HR and one with the hiring manager, each lasting around 30-35 minutes. Both were great – they asked good questions about my background, my work style, and my interests, and it was all pretty relaxed and enjoyable. The last interview was in person with more people from Cloudbakers. It had three 30-minute parts, which was cool because I met folks with different jobs and learned a lot more about the company and the role. From start to finish, it felt really well-thought-out and focused on making it a good experience for me. They really believe interviews are a two-way thing, and I felt comfortable asking my own questions. Throughout the whole thing, it felt like they were genuinely interested in getting to know me beyond just my resume.

The whole interview process was super organized and really clear from the beginning. First, I connected with a recruiter, and then we had some phone calls where we talked about me and about Cloudbakers. It really felt like they were looking for someone who fits the culture, not just someone with the right skills. After that, I went to their Denver office for interviews with the local team, and also had Google Meet calls with people from their Chicago headquarters. Everyone seemed really passionate about their work, which came across in our chats. They asked a good mix of technical and social questions, and I left the day impressed and hopeful for an offer.

The interview process with Cloudbakers spanned a few weeks. Communication from HR was excellent throughout. All interviewers were friendly and professional. I gained good info about the role and company, and they let me ask questions to ensure it was a good fit. Their core values and culture were evident, which was refreshing. Even though it was remote, setting up calls was smooth. Interviewers were informative and friendly. I'm excited to start my career here.
