Specialist
I talked to the HR recruiter first, then the VP. Haven't heard back since and no feedback. I get not everyone gets an offer, but not hearing anything back is pretty unprofessional and a bummer.
- Can you tell me what you know about our company?
No Specific Role
Submitted my resume and got an in-person interview invitation within a week. I went for the interview a few days later and they made an offer on the same day. During the interview, I met with two executives and was introduced to a few others. The initial interviewers were very relaxed and easy to talk to, making it feel like a casual chat rather than a formal interview. They were mainly trying to understand my personality, how I'd fit with the team, and the value I could bring, especially since they weren't actively hiring for a specific role at that time.
- Is there anything about you that isn't on your resume that you'd like us to know?
Booking Agent
We did a virtual interview and it was pretty chill, the interviewer was super nice. They asked the usual stuff and also answered all my questions about the company and how I could grow there. Then there was a quick technical test where I had to share my screen. They had me use Google Maps to find hotels and check walking distances to attractions, and figure out how to book flights to different places. They also tested my typing speed.
- Can you tell me about a time you went the extra mile for a customer?
- How do you cope with stress during work?
- Tell me about learning a new skill, how long it took, and what you learned from it.
Purchasing
Started with HR and recruiting coordinator screening, then moved to virtual interviews with team members and the department head. It was a pretty standard interview process with the usual questions to see if I'd be a good fit individually and culturally. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Can you tell me about a time you were responsible for implementing a new policy or procedure?
