First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cloud Software Group.
Marketing Director
The process was quite unusual from the start, with no initial HR contact, and communication was directly from the hiring manager. There were issues with unclear communication, like a missed interview invite where I had to follow up to confirm if it was still happening. It wasn't clear how many interview rounds there would be, as they kept adding more people to speak with. Ultimately, I got a verbal offer, went through two rounds of negotiation, and then the offer was rescinded because another candidate who was referred internally was chosen.
- Could you describe your approach to developing a marketing plan?
Cloud Software Engineer
I interviewed for the Senior Cloud Software Engineer position and it was a bad experience. The hiring manager was unprofessional and rude from the start, rushing through the conversation and not really listening to me. They kept interrupting me when I tried to talk about my cloud automation, Kubernetes, and DevOps experience. It felt more like an interrogation than a discussion, and the tone was hostile. I didn't get a clear idea about the role or the team culture. The whole thing made me question the workplace culture. I'd suggest being ready for a potentially difficult interview process.

Business Analyst
So the interview had a few parts. First, there was this initial screening where they just asked me about my background and what I've done. Then, I had to send in a video introduction of myself. After that, it was more of a structured interview where we dove into business analysis stuff, like managing stakeholders, getting requirements, and solving problems. They also wanted to know if I could work in Agile, how I look at data, and if I'm good at talking to different teams. The questions were pretty much like 'tell me about a time when...' related to business problems and making things better.
- Tell me about a situation where analyzing data helped you make a business decision.
