Client Support Specialist
Started with a phone call with HR to talk about the job, hours, and salary. They were hiring for about 5 positions. Then had a 30-minute phone interview with the hiring manager. Since my interview was late on a Friday, I didn't expect to hear back right away. After two weeks, I followed up and got a rejection email. However, the HR Manager then emailed back saying it was a mistake and I got lost in the shuffle. Even though I had said I could only work Eastern Time hours, they still wanted to interview me for the final round. The final interview was on a Friday over Ring Central and it went well. Today, I asked about a timeline and was told they wanted the last spot for Mountain Time/Pacific Time. I've never had such a bad interview experience; I'm just speechless at the ineptitude. I get that mistakes happen, but if they had followed up properly, I might have gotten one of the Eastern Time positions.
- Can you describe your experience with apologies, both when you've had to give one and when you've received one?
Sales Consultant
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I sent in my application online and soon after, I got a call for a quick phone screen. The Senior Recruiter I spoke with was professional and responsive. However, the phone conversation itself wasn't great. After they mentioned the role was primarily inside sales, I realized I was likely overqualified. I'm mainly sharing this to give feedback on how Clinicient recruiters could improve their candidate interactions. With the national unemployment rate at 4.1% as of October, most educated candidates are probably exploring their options. Using old-school "Tell me about a time when..." questions isn't going to impress me, especially since the company is going through major changes. They should be more creative. What's exciting about Clinicient's position in the market? What's the company culture really like? Just mentioning a beer cart and ping pong isn't enough, especially when I live in Chicago, a major startup hub. A beer fridge won't impress me. The recruiter didn't share anything new beyond what's on the website. The 30-minute call felt like I was talking to a robot for about 20 minutes. If this is their standard interview practice, I can only guess what working at Clinicient would be like.

Client Engagement Specialist
I put in my application online and a recruiter got in touch to set up an initial phone screen, which was pretty informative and had some structured questions. After that, I was asked to schedule a phone interview with a manager. A few days later, they sent over an online assessment that had a mix of personality and logic/math questions (mostly analogies and a bit of algebra, nothing too intense). I waited about a week to hear back, and then they contacted me to set up a 2.5-hour in-person interview. This was the most professional process I've been through in my job search. A recruiter met me, gave me a printed schedule for my time there, and then took me to a conference room to meet with the manager I'd spoken with before. He asked some questions related to the online personality assessment and was very open about the role. I got a tour of the office, sat in on a stand-up meeting, met with a lead HR manager, and did job shadows with two employees. This was a great opportunity to ask more questions and get a sense of the day-to-day work. I'm waiting to hear back, but overall, it was a really positive experience and I was very impressed with how professional they were.
- Can you share an experience of dealing with a difficult customer when you couldn't offer a solution?
- Describe a situation where you had to do something you didn't know how to do or weren't trained for.
Business Analyst
The job was originally posted as a Business Analyst but then renamed to Practice Analyst before the offer. There was no interaction with HR during the process. The online posting asked for a resume and cover letter via email to a general account. The hiring manager did a 60-min phone interview. Then, a personality survey called a Rembrant profile was administered. Next, there was an on-site interview with two groups of two peer-level employees. The final step was an on-site interview with the CEO, CFO, functional director, and functional manager. An offer was received within hours of the final on-site, with the salary range revealed for the first time. The offer letter had a general benefits description and a salary with an expiration date.
- Would you say you exceed expectations in your work?
