This interview was pretty different from other first interviews I’ve had. It mostly focused on scenarios rather than me or my background. Like, 85% of it was about what I’d do in specific situations – like what I’d deliver, how I’d approach the work, and how I’d interact with stakeholders, even specific groups. They really wanted to know my change management insights and how I’d fit into the project. I was surprised to get this kind of in-depth questioning in the first round, I usually see that in later stages. It was also pretty intense with two interviewers, and I didn't have much time at the end to ask them questions about the company, which is pretty important to me. I'm wondering if this is maybe because it's a contract role!

Confirmed questions1 question
  • In terms of rolling out a data analytics tool across a business, what would be your approach? And how would you leverage the data insights to influence behavior or decision-making? Additionally, how would you engage with a group of PAs located in different regions, and what deliverables would you suggest for such a project?

Behavioral Other

The interviewers were quite late without offering an apology. They asked standard, typical questions and directly stated they didn't believe my responses, which was surprising. Even though I could have supported my answers in many ways, they dismissed them. It felt like they had already decided on their hire before I even arrived, and my interview was just a formality and a waste of my time. I didn't receive any feedback afterward, which was quite rude considering the time I took to travel there. Honestly, I wouldn't have accepted the job even if offered, as the office atmosphere was unpleasant; even the receptionist seemed unhappy.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked some generic questions; they weren't prepared.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Had to do a video interview, which I imagine would put a lot of people off. A series of questions appear on the screen, which you then have 1min to think about and then record your answer. If successful (which I was), you are invited to a face to face interview. Then if successful, a second interview with the director of the department.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me about your experience that you think would be beneficial for this position?
