React Developer
Applied directly on the company's website. An HR person emailed me to schedule an initial phone call to go over the role and my background. After that, I had a video chat with the Software Manager. He asked me about my past work and some technical questions. I heard back a few days later via email saying they weren't moving forward with me. The whole thing took less than two weeks.
- Can you describe your experience with class-based versus function-based React components?
Client Support
I filled out and returned a questionnaire. After that, I was invited for an interview. Two calls were made to confirm my 2:15 PM interview time. However, upon my arrival at 2:15 PM, I was informed that my interview would not proceed because I had not confirmed my interview time. Your recruiting department is terrible. I wasted an entire day off, took time from my job and my family, and was disrespected by your company.

Account Manager
I got referred and they emailed me to set up a phone screen. After that, they had me do an assignment. Once I finished the assignment, I scheduled an in-person interview. It was with three people at once and the hiring manager ran it. They asked me different questions one by one, but didn't really discuss my answers, which was uncomfortable. They still hadn't talked much about the job duties, so I asked about the role and the first 90 days. The hiring manager said there's a lot of training and that nobody really knows the job until the year mark, with no more info. She then said there would be another interview with even more people because they had a lot of candidates to interview. A few days later, they messaged me saying they moved on with other candidates. I asked for feedback and they said they wanted more specific examples during the interview. I noticed the job is posted publicly now.
- How would your current employer categorize you: as a bulldozer, a wizard, or a bridge?
Admin Clerk
The interview process was really well-organized and professional. They communicated clearly and consistently, which made everything feel friendly and welcoming. The interviewers knew their stuff, and the whole experience was positive, engaging, and gave me a lot of insight.
- Tell me about a time you had to juggle multiple tasks at once. How did you decide what to do first and manage your work?
- How did you prioritize tasks when you had many things to do at the same time? Describe your workload management strategy.
