& Process

The interview process was smooth. I got invited to interview with the Principal Engineer on a Wednesday and had my first round with her the next day (a technical phone screen for about 1.5 hours). It was unusually long, but I learned a lot about their culture and how awesome it would be to work with them during that call. I had a 30-minute phone interview with HR the next day (Friday), then another with one of the co-founders (about 45 minutes) the following Monday. My last round was a 1.5-hour face-to-face technical interview with the Principal Engineer.

Applied online and got an email within a week. Scheduled the first interview with my potential manager, which went well. Was told another Sales Ops associate would reach out. Two weeks later, after following up, I was told they were 'swamped' but still interested, and an associate would reach out that week. She did, and that interview went well, and I was asked to continue to the next phase with an assignment by the end of the week. Another week and a half passed, and after following up again, I received no response. The whole experience was way more flaky than I thought. After the second interview, I could tell they were either overloaded or just completely unorganized. I was disappointed with the process, especially since I had high hopes for CGC.

I had the most incredible interview experience ever at CLEVER. Every team member I spoke with was so involved and invested in CLEVER that I felt an instant connection and really wanted to join the team. Each interview was very in-depth, which showed how much CLEVER cares about hiring people with the same goals and a strong work ethic.

The interview was pretty chill and the people were nice. They asked about my previous experience, why I'm interested in working there, and my strengths. It was one online interview that lasted 30 minutes, with both HR and the manager for the internship position.
