The interview was pretty simple. The team was super nice and welcoming. I liked hearing about the tiles and my future coworkers, especially about how things work on game days.

Before talking to anyone, there was a screening. First, you record yourself answering some basic "about you" questions, with a two-minute limit for each. Then, there's a one-hour timed technical test where you solve a few LeetCode-style puzzles off-camera and off-mic. It's pretty easy and not too bad, but while I get wanting to narrow down candidates, it's a bit of a bummer to spend an hour of your time and not get to talk to a real person or explain how you'd solve the technical problems. What I'd do to make it better: 1. Give candidates 20 minutes to chat with you, so they can get a feel for personality and the "work environment." 2. For the technical test: Either let it be recorded too, so candidates can talk out loud and explain their thinking, or don't time it so people feel comfortable taking their time to add comments. (Honestly, LeetCode tests are only good at showing who can solve random puzzles under pressure without IntelliSense.)

First, I had a phone screening with one of the direct reports, who was super nice. After that, I went to their team facility in Berea, OH for an in-person interview. They tested my shooting and editing skills with some hands-on tasks. I had to film something, import it into their Avid systems, and then cut a short piece to show I could do multiple things.
