I had an initial chat with the recruiter and then a behavioural interview with another Engineering Manager. After that, I was asked to prepare a showcase of projects and trade-offs. The internal recruitment team member I was dealing with disappeared during the process, and another member stepped in. Because of the communication breakdown, my showcase was different from what the interviewers were expecting (I focused on examples more relevant to the specific role I was applying for, while the interviewers were expecting the most complex and recent examples). I was rejected based on that.
