First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cleary Building Corp..
Construction Sales
They got in touch fast to set up the phone interview, and then we did an in person one. It was pretty good and nice. We talked about what they and I expected from the job. They offered me the job pretty quickly.
- How would you sell this "remote"?
Branch Manager
I had a phone interview that went really well. They said I'd hear back by Wednesday of the next week, but that didn't happen. Three more weeks passed, and I finally got a call back after I tried calling them. They apologized for a hiccup and said they needed to schedule my next interview, promising I'd hear back by the middle of the next week. That was five weeks ago.
- The recruiter was very detail-oriented during the phone interview and wanted to know as much as possible about my previous experience.
- No specific questions were asked besides those pertaining to relevant job experience.
Drafter
It was pretty easy and straightforward. I had to do some behavioral tests and some math questions. The interview was in person and it lasted a bit over 30 minutes. The interviewer made me feel comfortable and confident to tell about myself and ask any questions.
- Tell me about your experience drafting using AutoCAD.
Sales Associate
We started with introductions, then jumped straight into discussing the job requirements and asking questions, scoring my responses as we went. I was told I'd get a response either way, but I never heard back. The interviewer seemed a bit distracted.
- Can you tell me about the last book you read?
